Free Logo Design

When you are designing a logo on a budget, there are a lot of great and even free resources you can use. Below is a list of a few of the resources that can help you with your free logo design.

Logo Snap

Logosnap.com is an online logo design company that gives you two options for your logo design needs.  You can get a free logo design, by using their site to design your logo yourself.  This process is easy and the site is very user-friendly, walking you through the process step by step.  The other option for your free logo design is to post your logo on logosnap.com and have someone else design it.  This of course, does not end up being completely free, but you get at least 30 design concepts or you get your money back.  This is a great option if you are on a budget, but do not want to design the logo yourself.

Logo Yes

Logoyes.com is another free logo design option.  By identifying your company’s mission and industry, you narrow your logo design options down to where you can choose your free logo design that is most relevant to your company.

Logo Ease

Logoease.com is also an easy to use design interface that will help you with your free logo design.  You also have the opportunity to choose a custom logo and get a free logo quote on this website.  Logo ease is user-friendly and there are many images to choose from.  After choosing an image, you may personalize it with your identifying information and you may then download it for free.

The Down Side to “Free”

While these are great options for free company logos, the old adage “you get what you pay for” comes to mind.  These are going to be very generic images and are going to contain stock images.  In the custom logo design world, stock images are a major no-no.  The problem with stock photos, is that you will see them everywhere you go, which takes the uniqueness away from your logo, thus making it harder to remember.  Where memory recall is the desired goal in logo design, generic designs are going to inhibit that.  Free logo design may not be the best option for your company, when you consider what is at stake.
